Exclusively Housewares, which runs annually in June at the Business Design Centre in London, is widely acknowledged to be one of the key events within the housewares industry.
It is attended by key buyers from across the UK, and across all types of retail channels, including the leading independent cook shops, high street, grocery, out of town and department stores, along with garden centres, e-commerce sites and TV and catalogue retailers. In recent years it has also attracted a growing licensing audience keen to team up with housewares suppliers.
Through its close links with BHETA housewares members the show’s board has been able to respond to the growth in certain product areas and retail channels and adapt its marketing strategy and product mix for the show accordingly. For example, the increasing levels of interest in the small electrical product sector from both suppliers and buyers led the BHE Board to launch a dedicated hall for SDA products in 2015. 'Exclusively Electrical' celebrates its 3rd year in 2017.

This is what exhibitors say about the show:
Jeremy Horwood, sales director of Horwood Homewares, said:
“After several years’ absence from the show we decided it was time to make our come-back, and use Exclusively Housewares as a platform to show our latest new products - we also used the show to put together a promotional programme of offers on the stand and were delighted with the results! We will definitely be back next year!”
David Barbour, national sales manager for Premier Housewares, commented:
“Exclusively Housewares really has become a very important UK show for Premier Housewares in terms of meeting the most important buyers and showcasing our new products to the trade. This year proved just as good if not better with increased traffic to the stand created by the SORTED launch.”
Richard Gilbert, managing director of Gilberts Equipment and a long standing exhibitor said:
"Exclusively Housewares is our most important show of the year, as it is our first opportunity to show new ranges sourced at shows earlier in the year. This year's show did not disappoint with the high quality of visitors balanced with excellent footfall on both days. Our display included a vibrant mix of colours, designs and highly functional products, which led to the best response from customers for a number of years."
